Due to continuous droughts in the area and the high poverty level, it is difficult for families to place decent food on their tables. Those mostly affected are young children. A number of children especially those below 7yrs of age die due to malnutrition and malnutrition related complications such as anaenia, pneumonia etc.
Community of hope care centre established a feeding program to rehabilitate children with severe malnutrition.
